Air Liquide Romania is the trusted partener of important companies from the chemical, steel and glass industries, as well as of shipyards and fast moving goods.

Air Liquide is present in Romania since December 1999. Ever since, more and more customers have added to the company portfolio.

In 2005, Air Liquide Romania has signed a contract with one of the glass manufacturing industry leaders, for their flat glass producing unit in Calarasi. Consequently, Air Liquide has based there its first Air Separation Unit, producing nitrogen, oxigen and hidrogen.

At the beginning of 2008, Air Liquide Romania has also started the first acetylene plant in Braila, in the frame of a partnership with one of top world shipyards.

Based on the Group's "Zero Accidents" policy, Air Liquide Romania values labour safety and developpes various preventional programmes in all its producing units.
